Five foundations. A few minutes a day.
Record how you feel, what you actually did, and anything worth carrying into the week.
A way to turn ordinary daily experience into useful context — without pretending that more tracking automatically creates more understanding.
The Compass is how small observations are gathered. The Blueprint is what remains when those observations have been reviewed, questioned and turned into something you can actually use.
Sleep, waking, body state, starting energy and what the day is asking of you.
Meals, hydration, energy, concentration, movement, stress load and digestive rhythm.
What changed, what drained you, what restored you and how the day is ending.
Step back from individual moments and ask what repeated often enough to deserve attention.
Reliable patterns, practical routines, early warning signs, useful recovery strategies, open questions and the areas that still need proper professional input.
The Client Compass is designed to live with the client through the week — as a private daily record, a pattern-finding tool, and a structured way to arrive better prepared for each coaching conversation.
Record how you feel, what you actually did, and anything worth carrying into the week.
The plan stays personal while the underlying structure stays simple.
Daily entries roll into a weekly picture so patterns can be discussed rather than guessed.
Choose what Russ receives before a coaching conversation. Nothing is shared simply because it exists.
Your health should not exist as a collection of disconnected moments.
A bad Tuesday can feel enormously important on Tuesday. A single good night can feel like the answer on Wednesday. Without context, every moment competes to become the explanation.
The Compass slows that down. It allows enough small observations to accumulate that you can look for patterns across days and weeks rather than making every decision from the latest snapshot.
Sleep opportunity, wake time, consistency, evening wind-down and the relationship between one day and the next.
Not a diagnostic fatigue score — simply a repeatable way to notice where energy appears steadier, where it drops and what preceded it.
Meal timing, appetite, hydration and digestive rhythm, viewed as context rather than proof that one food or behaviour caused a symptom.
Movement, training, inactivity, recovery after exertion and the difference between feeling challenged and feeling depleted.
Workload, pace, periods of calm, breath practices and the moments when the system seems to struggle to come back down.
Light, travel, routines, social connection, solitude and the surroundings that either support or disrupt the patterns you are trying to build.
Not a health score. Not a diagnostic algorithm. Not a competition to generate the most data.
The Compass does not measure mitochondrial function, diagnose disease, prove causation or replace medical investigation. A correlation is a reason to ask a better question, not permission to declare an answer.
That restraint is part of the method.
Russ reviews the observations with you, looking for repeated relationships, changes in context and places where the obvious story may be too simple. The goal is not to produce a secret score. It is to improve the quality of the conversation and the choices that follow from it.
Sharing previous reports or correspondence is entirely optional and never required to take part. Where you do share them, they are placed in date order only — not read for clinical meaning, not interpreted, and not used to form any view about your health. That remains the work of your GP or other appropriately qualified clinicians, and BeingVITAL does not use the Compass to reinterpret medical tests or form a medical diagnosis.
Your Personal Blueprint is intended to remain useful after an intensive programme ends. The underlying BeingVITAL method, templates and framework remain BeingVITAL intellectual property.
BeingVITAL uses a staged client journey. Detailed health-related information is only requested after a separate explicit consent step, and the Privacy Notice explains how information is handled and how consent can be withdrawn.
A lighter Compass focused on the narrower brief, feeding a Foundation Blueprint.
A broader set of observations and weekly interpretation, feeding the fuller Personal Blueprint and continuation plan.
Over time, the aim is to build your own manual — one that remains useful when the programme is no longer there.
