The Second Renaissance

A private period of renewal and integration for people whose life has changed enough that the old operating model no longer fits.

This is not simply The BeingVITAL Method with more access. The starting question is wider: what is the next chapter asking of you, and what kind of life will actually support it?

Scope is shaped personally after consultation.

The premise

Not a return to who you were. A deliberate construction of what comes next.

There are periods when “getting back to normal” is the wrong target. A role ends. A long season of pressure finally lifts. Your priorities alter. Your body, time, relationships or ambitions demand a different way of living.

The Second Renaissance creates enough space to examine that transition as a whole rather than reducing it to productivity, fitness, diet, or a collection of isolated goals.

Who this is for

For a life that is changing shape.

Transition

The old role has changed.

Retirement, sale of a business, a shift in responsibility, relocation, relationship change, or another transition has altered the structure that used to organise your life.

Renewal

You can function, but do not want to simply continue.

You have enough perspective to recognise that the next decade should not be built from the same habits, pressures and assumptions as the last one.

Integration

Several priorities now need to fit together.

Vitality, work, relationships, travel, recovery, purpose, environment and time all matter — and solving one while ignoring the others no longer makes sense.

The work

Three movements. One coherent transition.

01 · Mapping

Understand what is ending and what is carrying forward.

We map the current landscape: responsibilities, habits, health-supporting foundations, relationships, environments, pressures, freedoms and the assumptions that may no longer belong in the next chapter.

02 · Renewal

Build what the next chapter needs.

We test practical changes in rhythm, recovery, movement, nourishment, time, boundaries and environment while also asking the larger question: what deserves your attention now?

03 · Integration

Turn insight into a way of living.

The work closes by consolidating your Personal Blueprint and an integration plan that can survive beyond the intensity of the programme.

What makes it different

The subject is not only your wellbeing. It is the architecture around it.

The Second Renaissance may include the same physiology-aware attention used elsewhere in BeingVITAL, but the frame is broader. We look at how your time is spent, what roles you are carrying, what your environment reinforces, where recovery fits, how relationships and connection support the next phase, and what you want your energy to be for.

That breadth is why the scope is shaped after consultation rather than sold as a fixed checklist.

Russ's role

Advisor, interpreter and constructive challenger.

  • Hold continuity across the different strands rather than allowing each new concern to replace the previous one.
  • Ask the questions that are easy to avoid when you are busy, capable and used to solving things yourself.
  • Bring physiology-aware education into the picture without reducing the work to biology.
  • Help distinguish genuine priorities from inherited obligations and habitual urgency.
  • Keep the process moving from insight toward choices that can actually be lived.
Your role

Be willing to change the architecture, not just optimise inside it.

  • Bring the real constraints, including the ones you would rather not have.
  • Test new structures rather than waiting for certainty before trying anything.
  • Notice what creates vitality, what consumes it and what has simply become automatic.
  • Use the Client Compass where useful, without turning the work into self-surveillance.
  • Remain responsible for medical, financial, legal and other specialist decisions outside BeingVITAL's scope.
What may be shaped personally

The programme has a structure. The emphasis does not have to be generic.

Rhythm

How often we meet.

The 1:1 rhythm is agreed around the work rather than forced into a standard timetable. Some phases may need closer contact; others need space for real-world integration.

Access

How continuity is maintained.

Between-session access is defined in writing. High-touch means attentive and reliable, not permanent availability.

Compass & Blueprint

What deserves observation.

The Compass is adapted to the questions that matter rather than asking you to track everything. The Blueprint becomes a record of the next chapter, not just a health routine.

Integration

What happens at the end.

The final phase is designed around continuation: what you can now hold yourself, where another professional is needed, and whether any ongoing BeingVITAL relationship would add genuine value.

The final fee reflects the agreed scope, rhythm and degree of access. Any third-party services are separate unless expressly stated.

Why it begins at £6,000

Because the value is in the breadth and continuity of the work.

This is not priced by counting calls. The work can span wellbeing foundations, life structure, recovery, transition and integration, with the scope shaped around the person rather than a standard package.

If the real need is narrower, Russ should tell you that. Premium does not mean selling the largest programme to everybody.

What you should leave with

A next chapter with more intention behind it.

01

A fuller Personal Blueprint.

A practical record of what supports your vitality, what costs you, how you recover, and the structures you want to carry forward.

02

A clearer hierarchy of priorities.

Not everything that could be improved deserves equal attention. You should know what matters now and what can remain unfinished.

03

Tested changes.

New rhythms and boundaries that have been lived, not merely discussed.

04

An integration plan.

A way to continue without turning the end of the programme into another abrupt loss of structure.

Scope

Deeply personal does not mean professionally unbounded.

The Second Renaissance is wellbeing coaching, education, structured reflection and practical lifestyle work. It is not psychotherapy, medical or nursing care, financial advice, legal advice or crisis support.

Where a question belongs with another appropriately qualified professional, the work is to recognise that boundary clearly — not to blur it.

Begin

Do not choose this because it is the most expensive pathway.

Choose it only if the transition itself is the work. The Clarity Conversation exists partly to establish whether that is genuinely true.
